This policy explains what information Bildara ("we," "us," "our") collects when you use our website and Service, how we use it, and the choices you have. It's operated by Bildara, LLC.

3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service — including generating your AI analyses
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To send account, billing, and product-related communications
- To monitor usage limits and enforce plan quotas
- To improve and secure the Service, and to fix bugs
- To comply with legal obligations
4. AI Processing of Your Content
When you run a tool, the relevant inputs are sent to our AI provider to generate your results. We don't permit our AI providers to use your business content to train their general models, and we don't sell your business content to third parties.
5. Who We Share Information With
We don't sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers who help us run Bildara, including:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI analysis of your tool inputs
- Stripe — payment processing
- Netlify — hosting
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Bildara, our users, or others.
6. Data Retention
We keep your account and business data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for backups and legal purposes. You can request deletion at any time — see Section 8.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on your data — but no system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices & Rights
- Access & export: you can view and download your saved business data from your dashboard.
- Correction: update your account details anytime in settings.
- Deletion: delete individual businesses from your dashboard, or request full account deletion via our Help page.
- Marketing emails: unsubscribe via the link in any marketing email; you'll still receive essential account and billing notices.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We also collect basic usage analytics (which pages are visited, in what order) using a session-only identifier stored in your browser's session storage — not a cookie, and not something that persists once you close your browser tab. It never tracks you across visits or across other sites.
10. Children's Privacy
Bildara isn't directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
11. International Users
Our servers and service providers may be located in the United States. By using Bildara, you consent to your information being processed there.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
